The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief was addressing a PDM rally in Karachi, the first in a number of countrywide protests recently declared from the opposition alliance towards rising rising prices. In Peshawar on Nov 20 before moving on to Lahore and then Islamabad, today’s rally will be followed by one in Quetta on Nov 17.
“We want to say towards the institutions that they should understand the realities and reassess their role,” the JUI-F main said in his address to the rally. “They should take a look at their mistakes previously, personal mirror, express disgrace about what they may have done and ask for forgiveness from your individuals.” Read more full story
