batch is a mode in League of Legends that was introduced with the release of the Championship Series in 2015. The concept of batch is simple – teams play every other team in their group at least once, giving them a fair chance to compete against each other.
However, batch season didn’t live up to the hype. Many people believed that it would create an environment where teams would work harder, as they would have to face competition from within their own group. However, this wasn’t the case. In fact, many teams appeared to take the opportunity to rest and heal up before playoffs.
Batch season may have been unsuccessful in terms of creating a competitive environment, but it did have some benefits. For one, it allowed new players to get experience and learn from top players. It also gave old players a break, so they could come back stronger for playoffs.
